Safety always comes first
Meeting safety standards should be the minimum requirements of any playground!
Each year in the United States, emergency departments treat more than 200,000 children ages 14 and younger for playground-related injuries (Tinsworth 2001).
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention | USAThe safety of the users is always the top priority for any indoor playground business owner. Indoor playgrounds that do not meet the necessary safety standards are not only harmful to children but can also cause great problems for your business. In some countries, playgrounds may not even be able to open at all if they do not pass local safety tests.
As one of the most professional indoor playground manufacturers in China, it is our responsibility to design and produce playgrounds that meet safety standards. The indoor playgrounds we manufacture are fully compliant and even superior to the strictest international standards, from materials to the overall structure.
By complying with these standards, we can minimize the risk of injury in your indoor playground and ensure that it will pass any mandatory or voluntary safety checks in your country.
The International safety standards we follow in our design and production include:
ASTM F1487 (USA)
ASTM, known as the American Society for Testing and Materials, is an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.
As one of the most authorized indoor playground safety standards in the world, ASTM F1487 is a performance specification that addresses safety and performance standards for various types of public playground equipment. Specifically, the range of users that the document encompasses is the 5th percentile 2-year-old through the 95th percentile 12-year-old.
We make sure our indoor playgrounds are designed, manufactured and installed in accordance with the ASTM F1487. This is endorsed by the significant number of indoor playgrounds which we have exported and installed in North America.
EN-1176 (Europe)
The EN-1176, made in Europe, is another main international playground safety standard. This standard is set for the safety of both indoor and outdoor playgrounds and includes general safety requirements and test methods for playground equipment.
The materials we use in our indoor playgrounds have been tested and certified to the EN1176 standard. We do business with many customers from European countries; all the playgrounds we have built in Europe have met the EN-1176 standard, which is referred to as a crucial safety standard.
AS 3533.4.2-2013 (Australia)
The AS3533.4.2-2013 is another safety standard that has been created specifically for indoor playgrounds. We understand this standard and ensure that our indoor playgrounds are designed and manufactured in compliance with this standard, especially for our Australian customers.
CSA Z614-07(R2012) (Canada)
The CSA Z614-07(R2012) is a safety standard created by Canada for indoor and outdoor playgrounds. This is the safety standard that is used by our Canadian customers.
The indoor playgrounds we have exported to Canada have all been designed, manufactured and installed in compliance with the CSAZ614-07(2012) standards.
Higher quality in every detail
The quality of indoor playgrounds can be hugely different, as a result of different material, manufacturing process, and installation.
